Danielle (Danny) Dehm is an esteemed figure within the educational landscape of Rochester. Holding degrees including a B.S. in Elementary Education from St. Bonaventure University, an M.S. in Learning and Behavioral Disorders from SUNY Buffalo, a C.A.S. in Educational Administration from SUNY Brockport, and a doctorate in Executive Leadership from St. John Fisher College, her scholarly achievements have been far-reaching. With a history as an Assistant Principal, Principal, and a 20-year tenure as a Professor at SUNY Oswego, Danny's impact on aspiring leaders in the Wayne-Finger Lakes Region and beyond is profound. She has received accolades like the SAANYS McClelland Award and NYS Elementary Principal of the Year Award, reflecting her exceptional contributions to education.In addition to her significant academic career, Danny is a facilitator for personal development programs at LifeResults, a board member, and an adept traveler. Notably, she embarked on transformative journeys along the Camino Frances and Porto Camino routes. As a mother of two dynamic daughters who are also educators, Danny's legacy is further enriched by her dedication to both her family and her community.
Deborah Bussewitz embodies a vibrant blend of energy, playfulness, determination, and contentment. A poet, teacher, and leader, she now enjoys a fulfilling retirement, free from defined roles. She cherishes the roles of being a devoted mother and a loving grandmother, as well as a supportive partner and caregiver. Her self-perception is nuanced and layered, describing herself as intricate while embracing life's complexities. As an introvert, she finds solace in simplicity and the practice of meditation. Words hold a special place in her heart, serving as pathways to her core and complemented by the power of silence.
